The Sixteenth International Linguistics Olympiad, also known as IOL 2018 Prague, was held in Prague from 26 July to 30 July, 2018. Total 192 contestants of 49 teams represented 30 countries at IOL 2018 Prague. The jury awarded 59 medals (12 gold, 17 silver, and 30 bronze) out of 192 participants, as well as 19 honorable mentions, 3 team contest trophies (1 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze), 0 team contest honourable mentions, 3 team cups for highest average score, and 11 best solution prizes.
