The Seventeenth International Linguistics Olympiad, also known as IOL 2019 Yongin, was held in Yongin from 29 July to 2 August, 2019. Total 209 contestants of 53 teams represented 36 countries at IOL 2019 Yongin. The jury awarded 60 medals (10 gold, 21 silver, and 29 bronze) out of 209 participants, as well as 31 honorable mentions, 6 team contest trophies (1 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze), 3 team contest honourable mentions, 3 team cups for highest average score, and 7 best solution prizes.
